In My Defense: Week #10 D/ST Streams
D/ST Streamers – Week #10
Below are three streaming options for the DST slot in Week #10 but before we go ahead, there’s a few DSTs that are highly owned in fantasy leagues, but you should double check your waiver wire or FA to see if they’re somehow available.
Denver Broncos – After a tough stretch, the Broncos’ defense has gotten back on track the last 3 weeks, allowing an average of only 14.3 points per game, 2nd best in the NFL. The Eagles offense might seem top-notch on paper over the last 3 games, but a lot of their stats seem to be inflated by a 44-6 rout over the Detroit Lions. Denver tends to keep games low scoring, with 7 of their 9 games this season hitting the under, and in this game with only a 45-points Over/Under, I imagine there won’t be boatloads of scoring on the Philadelphia side.
Tennessee Titans – After a rough start in Week 1 where Tennessee got decimated by the Cardinals, the Titans have bounced back in a major way and currently sit atop the AFC, with wins over the Chiefs, Rams, Bills and Colts in the last 4 weeks. Not only have they won these tough games, but the defense has been dominant along the way. The Titans DST ranks #1 in the NFL over the last 4 weeks and gets to take on a Saints’ offense most likely starting Trevor Siemian at QB, and possibly without Alvin Kamara this week. The Titans are 3-point home favorites in a game with a low Over/Under of 45 points, which only gives the Saints an implied team total of 21 points. Over the last 3 weeks Tennessee is tied for #1 in the NFL with 2.7 takeaways per game and tied for 2nd with 3.3 sacks per game. Without Kamara to help the Saints’ offense, the Titans’ DST could have a field day.
Dallas Cowboys – After consistently being one of the top DSTs in the 2021 season, the Dallas defense laid an egg last week against the Broncos. Although they sacked the QB 4 times in the game, they allowed 30 points and didn’t force any turnovers as Denver manhandled them. There’s a good chance the Dallas DST was dropped in many leagues of yours, as they were in several of mine. I think Dallas gets back on track this week as a 9-point home favorite against the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta is giving up the 8th most points to DSTs this season, averaging 1.2 turnovers, almost 2 sacks, and only averaging 22 points per game this year.
I hope this article helped you and as always, stay true.
