NFC East Draft Needs
NFC East Draft Needs
New York Giants needs- WR, Edge, CB
Edge Rusher is their biggest need in this draft. Opponents had all the time in the world in the pocket last year. One thing I was saying last year during the season was pass rush and wide receiver and they have addressed the wide receiver need through free agency. At the same time, I believe they are missing that gadget type, get the ball in his hands type playmaker. Give me Jaylen Waddle in the first and address the pass rush in the second round.
Total Picks: 6
Round 1: No. 11 overall
Round 2: No. 42
Round 3: No. 76
Round 4: No. 116
Round 6: Nos. 196, 201 (from Cardinals)
Dallas Cowboys needs- CB, OT, Edge, TE
So many needs on the defensive side of the ball. Corner stands as their biggest need and nearly every mock I have seen, read, or partaken in they have Patrick Surtain II going 10 to the Cowboys. They can also use additional help along the offensive line, and I could see them addressing that in the second-round if someone like Landon Dickerson falls to them. There have been some whispers of Jerry Jones love for a player like Kyle Pitts who is a generational talent, but at the end of the day it is all noise.
Total Picks: 10
Round 1: No. 10 overall
Round 2: No. 44
Round 3: Nos. 75, 99
Round 4: Nos. 115, 138
Round 5: No. 179
Round 6: Nos. 192 (from Lions), 227
Round 7: No. 238
Washington Football Team needs- OT, LB, S, CB
WFT could be one of these dark horse teams to move up into the top 10 to possibly grab a quarterback. Ultimately, they stick to the board and let it fall to them. They could honestly really solidify this defense even further. A linebacker like Jaelen Phillips is a special prospect here.
Total Picks: 8
Round 1: No. 19 overall
Round 2: No. 51
Round 3: Nos. 74 (from 49ers), 82
Round 4: No. 124
Round 5: No. 163
Round 7: Nos. 244 (from Vegas), 246
Philadelphia Eagles team needs- WR, TE, CB, S
Philadelphia could use and will have an opportunity to have their choice of a pretty good crop of wide receivers here early. Jaycee Horn here in the early first is where Philly ends up going and with this class of wide receivers being so deep, I think they can also wait until the later rounds to address that need.
Total Picks: 11
Round 1: No. 12 overall (from 49ers through Dolphins)
Round 2: No. 37
Round 3: Nos. 70, 84 (from Colts)
Round 4: No. 123 (from Dolphins)
Round 5: No. 150
Round 6: Nos. 189, 224, 225
Round 7: Nos. 234, 240 (from 49ers)
Stay tuned for the NFC West tomorrow and as always, stay true.
