Quarterback: Cowboys fans hate him and eagles fans glorify him. Carson Wentz is a purified stud and the talent is there. Injuries have seemed to derail a promising career. Good thing is though, his career is nowhere near finished. Last year Carson Wentz managed to throw for 4,039 yards and 27Tds. Pretty spectacular since he was throwing the ball to guys right off of the street. Literally this guy just MADE IT HAPPEN! He became the first player in NFL history to record 4,000 yards without a receiver over 500 yards receiving. He had his second best completion percentage 63.9% with only 7 interceptions. Consider this year to be a bounce back season with the eagles since they have added some much needed help and depth to the wide receiving core. Draft wentz with confidence for a floor of a top 10 finish and a ceiling of being league MVP and finishing top 5.

Running back: This has been one of the most controversial topics I’ve seen on twitter for sometime. People are always saying “Can Miles Sanders be a bell cow back?” “Can Miles Sanders get 300 touches?” “But Doug Pederson is a RBBC coach.” I get all the worries, but at the same time, the guy I saw dominating at the end of season in his rookie year will have no problem squashing all that nonsense. This man may not be in the same tier of CMC or Saquon but he is a similar back who is shifty, able to make negative plays turn positive and has great receiving skills. Expect his target share and rushing volume to increase heavily and draft him with RB2 floor with a RB1 upside.

Wide receivers: Last season sucked balls for eagles receivers! No receiver last year eclipsed the 500 yard mark and that’s the first time in the history of the sport. We finally shipped off Nelson Agholor who couldn’t catch anything. Alshon Jeffrey seems to be on track to miss the first few games of the season due to injuries. While this is no surprise, one thing is a fact though, when Jeffrey is on the field he instantly becomes a Redzone threat. Desean jackson looks to be coming in healthy to start the season and is always a home run threat and electrifying when the ball gets in his hands. If anything he should be a great mentor to incoming rookies: Jalen reagor, Quez Watkins, and John Hightower. Jalen Reagor led all incoming rookie receivers with 27 contested catches last year and the only power 5 player with multiple punt return tds. Draft Jalen Reagor as the eagles wr1 for years to come in dynasty formats and in later rounds in redraft leagues. Quez Watkins and John Hightower are both sleeper candidates for this team, both are fast and have range. Both guys are able to take the top off of defenses and the  ability to take one to the house at any time.

Tight ends: the eagles have the best 1-2 punch in the league when it comes to the position. We just mentioned above that no receiver eclipsed over 500 yards and while they didn’t, Ertz and Goedert both picked up the slack. Ertz is consistent enough to be a top 5 TE every year, and although he may not be on a Kittle/Kelce level he is a no brainer after that. Goedert is only getting better each year and when Ertz finally does decide to hang em up the eagles will still be straight at the TE position.

Defense: Thank God for the signing of Darius Slay because that secondary last year was straight Ass. Shipping off Malcolm Jenkins leaves a big hole in leadership in the secondary but Jalen Mills seems ready to take on the safety role and fit to be a great play. Slay brings the veteran presence needed for the group and should be a great leader for the backend of the D. Nickell Robey-Coleman best known for his non pass interference call is a great add for the nickel corner position who is great on blitz packages that Jim Schwartz loves to use. Big man Fletcher Cox got boosted by the eagles adding another massive sidekick in the trenches with Javon Hargrave. These two should wreak havoc for opposing QB’s all season. Rumor has it that ol Howie might add Jadeveon Clowney, if he does running backs and qbs will be cautious of this D line. Linebacker group is still weak as puppy piss on paper, but we will see how it plays out.

All together this new eagles squad already brings a lot of hope compared to last years squad. The crazy thing is, as bad as the eagles were last year they still won the East and still went to the playoffs. Buy in on this offense, it will be a bounce back year forWentz. Draft Carson Wentz, Miles Sanders, Jalen Reagor, and Zach Ertz with confidence in PPR drafts and especially Reagor and Sanders in dynasty formats for years to come.
