Welcome back to the TSF Round Table where the guys at Truth Serum Football are joined by our very special guest Mr. Vince Schultz! - If the Jags take Lawrence and their weapons are pretty much the same as last year, where will you be targeting him for redraft leagues?
Zach: For Superflex and 2QB leagues I’m looking for him in rounds 8-10. In redraft probably the last few rounds. Gotta take that dart throw.
Jeremiah: With the success that Rookies have been having lately, I’d take him as a QB2 in a Super flex league. In a 1QB league I’d be willing to draft him as high as round 11 or possibly 10.
Clayton: Top 10 QB that’s a fact. Dude is gonna be legit. Upgrade Shenault, Chark, everybody!
Colt: In SF leagues I would take him around the 8th or 9th round. In single QB I am avoiding him.
Vince: He’s not on my radar at all, he’s gonna be right there with Sam darnold stat wise in my opinion.
- If Tampa can’t resign Godwin, where do you think he’ll land?
Zach: Hopefully New England but it’ll probably be Indy or Las Vegas.
Jeremiah: Jets or Ravens.
Clayton: Hmmmmm man Green Bay is like the answer for every receiver. Could you imagine the Chiefs getting an actual good receiver to go alongside Tyreek and Kelce tho 😤
Colt: Godwin to Indy would make sense. If NYJ can land Watson however I could see them giving Godwin a hefty payday.
Vince: Jacksonville, Indianapolis or Cincinnati.
- With little to no cap space to improve their weapons, what do you think Hurts’ 2021 ceiling as Philly’s starter is?
Zach: He was the QB7 over the span that he was a starter and he didn’t have much of a weapon arsenal. If he can keep up that elite rushing production we could be looking at the fantasy community’s new Lamar Jackson.
Jeremiah: With his running ability I think he can be a top 10 QB especially in leagues with 4 point passing TDs.
Clayton: Hot garbage. Jk He will do good fantasy wise because he is a baller but the Eagles are screwed for awhile until they fire Howie and figure something out.
Colt: The Eagles will take a few weapons in this draft. Hurts has a great floor with his rushing ability, but wouldn't shock me if he finished around QB12-14.
Vince: Not someone I’m going after but he could have a good season if the offense stays healthy.
- Where do you think J.J. Watt is going to sign?
Zach: Tennessee. Wreck Houston twice a year!
Jeremiah: I think he’ll go to Cleveland and face his baby brothers twice a year, plus they are a good team that needs help on defense.
Clayton: I think it’s gonna be Tennessee or Buffalo. He will be an immediate impact at both. Would love to see him on the Steelers with his bros tho, that would be legendary.
Colt: If Watt truly wants a contending team and money Buffalo makes sense. If he wants a contending team and fulfill his dream as a kid he will be in GB.
Vince: I’d personally like to see him help either Drew Brees or Big Ben win that retirement ring.
- Who’s your way too early pick to bounce back for fantasy owners this season?
Zach: There’s so many to choose from! I’m opting to go for someone where it was just disappointing rather than an injury. Tyler Boyd is in for a big bounce back. After finishing as WR3 he’ll be back to his high end WR2 form with a healthy Burrow🤞
Jeremiah: Zach Ertz and Carson Wentz! Wentz will have a good Offensive line and should be more consistent this year! Ertz could be traded but even if he stays he’s due for a good year and if healthy will always be a good option in PPR!
Clayton: It’s gotta be OBJ I mean come on dude, he is still one of the best receivers in the league in all the worst Situations. He gonna be literally shitting on all yo haters come next season 🖕🏿
Colt: Dak is the only answer for me prior to injury that man was balling. Dallas will have no choice but to fortify that line in the draft with all the money they have invested on offense.
Vince: It’s gotta be Michael Thomas right? First round pick off every board last year and only managed 7 games when healthy or not in trouble.
