Round Table

Round Table

Welcome back to the TSF Round Table where the guys at Truth Serum Football are joined by our guest Chris Howard! The Regular Season is rolling along and as always we're here to answer some questions. Have a question you want us to answer at next week’s Round Table discussion? Drop it in a comment below.

This was written prior to the Thursday night game.

  1. What is your week #3 upset?

Zach: Jets over Broncos.

Jimmy: I'm going to say Vikings over Seattle. Kirk Cousins has been playing really well and has a lot of options to throw to.

Justin: WFT over the Bills

Geoff: The Jaguars get their first win this weekend against the Cardinals. T-Law gets it going and pulls off the upset.

Chris: Lions beat Ravens

  1. Who are you high on now that wasn’t on your radar before the season?

Zach: It hurts to say it but Sam Darnold.

Jimmy: Brandin Cooks and Marvin Jones Jr. Both playing on teams with questions at QB (Cooks with Houston's QB nightmare and Jones Jr with a rookie). I have both these guys on one of my fantasy teams and I drafted them as my 4th and 5th WR. Just basically as bench stashes. Now they're starting in my 2 FLEX spots.

Justin: I wasn't super high on Jaylen Waddle and now I'm trying to get him everywhere.

Geoff: Going against my team, I was fading Kyle Pitts before the season. Rookie TE with Hurst still available and the rest of the offense they have, figured there were too many mouths to feed. Plus at the ADP he was going I had my doubts. I believe starting this week he will be heavily involved and will put up solid numbers the rest of the season.

Chris: Quintez Cepheus

  1. What team have you been most impressed with so far?

Zach: The Raiders. They’ve looked really good and have played some tough teams.

Jimmy: I have been most impressed with the Raiders. Beating Baltimore on Monday Night Football and then the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

Justin: Lions, they may be winless but they have been playing awesome on offense.

Geoff: Honestly, the Las Vegas Raiders. Carr is playing solid football and they are finishing games. Close second is Carolina Panthers, Darnold left those ghosts behind to haunt Zach Wilson.

Chris: Raiders

  1. Who’s your early favorite to win the NFC West?

Zach: Give me the Cardinals.

Jimmy: Toughest division in football right now. I think any team can win this division. It'll come down to the last week or 2.

I am going with the Rams. Their defense and a resurgent Matt Stafford will carry the team late into the playoffs. Don't be surprised if 3 teams all make the playoffs from here.

Justin: It's hard to admit this being a Niner fan, but the Rams.

Geoff: Rams. Stafford was the missing piece to give the Rams a boost on offense to go along with the stout defense. Book it.

Chris: Rams

  1. What stud are you fading this week in PPR formats?

Zach: Mike Evans vs the Rams.

Jimmy: For me, Laviska Shenault. I have him in a couple leagues figuring he'd be the go to WR in Jacksonville and he has been scoring around 2pts per game. Time to sit the bench for a bit.

Justin: I'm off on Josh Allen this week.

Geoff: I believe Derrick Henry reverts back to week 1 scoring range against a solid front 7 in Indianapolis. Short lived reign as rushing leader for 2021.

Chris: Mike Evans

That’s it for this week guys. Thanks for reading and as always, stay true.
