Round Table
Welcome back to the TSF Round Table where the guys at Truth Serum Football are joined by our guest Kirk Davenport! The Regular Season is rolling along and as always we're here to answer some questions. Have a question you want us to answer at next week’s Round Table discussion? Drop it in a comment below.
This was written prior to the Thursday night game.
- What is your upset of the week?
Zach: Bengals over Packers
Pynakker: Kinda weird to say but the only one I see being different than the odds is Jets vs Falcons. Crowder and Wilson bout to have a day
Tyler: My upset of the week is the Jags taking down the Titans. I actually think both Jax and Detroit get their first wins on the year this week. Sorry Colleen and Hannah.
Kirk: I do not know if you can call it an “upset”, but I can see the Jets beating the Falcons this weekend.
- Do you see Mike Williams being able to keep up this pace?
Zach: I don’t. He’s been too good to keep up this pace. He’s a top 5 WR right now.
Pynakker: No, he’s a great player but if he keeps it up he will take the coverage from Allen who will in turn take over his pace lol
Tyler: Most likely won’t keep it up all season but I know Herbert will take advantage of it as long as he can.
Kirk: Absolutely! Maybe not the 25+ point games every week, but I can see consistency in 15+ point games.
- If both are starting the rest of the season who would you want on your fantasy team, Fields or Lance?
Zach: Lance for sure.
Pynakker: Lance, he has better weapons and can still move.
Tyler: I have Fields on a few of mine and Lance in one. So I am going to go with Fields.
Kirk: Lance all day - the targets, options and opportunities are just better in San Fran.
- Who ya got winning the NFC North?
Zach: Unfortunately the Packers
Pynakker: Hope Vikings, but think Packers, fuck Arod.
Tyler: Fuck the Packers
Kirk: Green Bay - Rodgers has to make that final playoff run before he leaves, the Vikings have a tough schedule, Nagy continues to hold the Bears back and the Lions are, well the Lions
- Prediction time! What will the 2021 Carolina Panthers’ record be?
Zach: 10-7 and will just barely miss the playoffs.
Pynakker: They have been great with Datnold but the fact is adding Gilmore has only made em better, it’s like the 2015 Broncos or Seattle’s legion of boom showed us, defenses can win games! Then give the defense an offense and game over.
Tyler: 12-5
Kirk: 13-4, if everyone stays healthy. One hell of a defense and tons of offensive weapons - regardless they are a fun team to watch.
That’s it for this week guys. Thanks for reading and as always, stay true.
