Welcome back to the TSF Round Table where the guys at Truth Serum Football are here to talk some ball and are joined by a very special guest Derek Lang! Super Bowl Sunday is almost here and as always we're here to answer some questions. Have a question you want us to answer at next week’s Round Table discussion? Drop it in a comment below.
- Who ya got winning the big game and why?
Joey: Matt Stafford has a tough task ahead, but Joe Burrow lacks the experience. I'm really just hopeful Stafford gets a ring. He deserves it after over a decade of torture in Detroit. I have Los Angeles by 3.
Jordan: My head says the Rams but my heart is with Harambe.
Jeremiah: I’ve got the Rams winning! I think their defense will give them the edge.
Ben: Rams win, more talented team and they have been playing very well in the playoffs.
Derek: Gonna go with the Bengals by 3, I think it's gonna be a close game but the Bengals’ red zone defense is what gives them the win.
- Do you think there’s a real chance that Brady will come out of retirement?
Joey: The G.o.a.T. is done. Stick a fork in him. He retired way too early into the off season. Brady is still contractually obligated to play for the Bucs (if he returns), and it seems he doesn't want to be a Buc.
Jordan: I think he’s done, but I hope not. Greatest to ever do it.
Jeremiah: No. he played too long to have a comeback.
Ben: No, I doubt Brady returns, he made his decision and has little reason to come back and he likely wouldn't be able to return to a team as talented as his current one.
Derek: No, I think he is really done this time.
- Who are your top 3 running backs for PPR Dynasty formats?
Joey: Easy... Jonathan Taylor, Najee Harris, & Javonte Williams, in that order. Youth is what you want for Dynasty. Don't get caught drafting the top guys in a start up. I steer clear of the RBs until round 5 at least. Fade them, as they will fade too.

- Jonathan Taylor
- Cam Akers
- J.K. Dobbins and Najee Harris tied for third
Ben: Taylor, Harris, and Henry. Youth and proven experience. I think Ekeler is also close and Kamara would have been in the conversation until his recent off the field issues.
Derek: J. Taylor, Najee Harris, Javonte Williams.
- Where are you ranking Ja’Marr Chase in PPR redraft formats as of now?
Joey: Top 5.
Jordan: That’s the guy with the issue with catching the NFL ball right? Remember when that was a thing. He’s at 5 for me pending DAs off-season.
Jeremiah: 2nd round pick top 5 WR
Ben: I think he is a solid mid to late 2nd round pick. Hard to rank him higher compared to running backs and obviously there are a few wide receivers who I would choose first including Kupp, Adams, Samuel, and Jefferson. There are just a lot of wide receivers in the Bengals offense to throw the ball to, so needs to be considered that some games he may bust on.
Derek: Top 5 for sure.
- What is your go to Super Bowl party food?
Joey: Ummmm, where do I start? I'll start with alcohol. But, wings, pizza, nachos, potato wedges from B-Dubs, meatballs, & sausage. You guys already know, I'm a fat ass. Let's Goooo!
Jordan: Wings. But that’s my go to everything food.
Jeremiah: Pizza, Chips and dip, cheese and crackers and Popcorn!
Ben: Chicken wings, the spicier the better.
Derek: Bacon wrapped Brussel sprouts with a little spice, and always wings!
