Round Table

Round Table

Welcome back to the TSF Round Table where the guys at Truth Serum Football are here to talk some ball. The draft is quickly approaching and as always we're here to answer some questions. Have a question you want us to answer at next week’s Round Table discussion? Drop it in a comment below.

  1. In your opinion, who was your NFL team’s biggest draft day bust from the past five years?

Zach: N’Keal Harry. Ugh.

Pynakker: Uhhh there’s just sooo many 😂😂😂 prolly Ruggs

Nathan: Gotta say Malik Hooker was the biggest bust in the past 5 years. Often injured and never lived up to his draft stock of 15th overall.

  1. PPR redraft, DeAndre Hopkins or Tyreek Hill?

Zach: Nuk. Much better QB play and less competition for targets with Kirk gone.

Pynakker: Hopkins if Kyler is still there or not.

Nathan: I like Hill over Hopkins. Speed will help give hill the edge to gain those extra yards and separation off the line.

  1. Which starting QB is on the hottest hot seat entering this season?

Zach: Tua. No excuses anymore.

Pynakker: I’d say either Drew Lock or Tua, Lock with the new team and Tua with the new weapon.

Nathan: I don't feel like I should take the lay up of Drew Lock, so I'm going with Sam Darnold is the hottest seat. Last year he got off to a hot start again lesser quality defenses and cooled off after being injured. This will be a make it or break it season for him.

  1. Who do you see as the TE1 in PPR Dynasty formats?

Zach: TJ Hockenson. The dude is a proven stud at the position and is only 24!

Pynakker: The answer comes down to Waller or Kelce, if you think anyone else, you’re wrong.

Nathan: TE1 in dynasty might be the hardest thing to choose with Kelce being dethroned last season at the top. With age and ability to play with multiple QBs and still dominate my top TE has to be Mark Andrews.

  1. Start, bench, cut: (PPR redraft) Brandin Cooks, Michael Pittman Jr. Allen Robinson.

Zach: Start Pittman, bench Cooks, cut Robinson.

Pynakker: Start Pittman, bench ARob and drop Cooks.

Nathan: Start Pittman Jr, bench Brandin Cooks and cut Allen Robinson. Pittman is getting a quarterback that knows how to get his number one receiver the ball. Cooks has been consistent with any quarterback that he has played at a high level. Robinson is coming off his worst season as a pro and going into a new offense.

That’s it for this week guys. Thanks for reading and as always, stay true.
