Defense tends to be overlooked in a lot of fantasy leagues but in my opinion it’s one of the best types of leagues!! A good defense can be just as effective in fantasy as a good offense! Here in the Truth Serum Football IDP Corner my goal is to help you make better picks when it comes to picking defensive players. This will be a weekly column that will highlight some of the key defensive players, injury news, and top waiver adds. 

Which rookies will make their mark this year? Who will be the next Jeremy Chinn or Chase Young? I know most of us have made our rookie picks in dynasty leagues, and personally I’m excited to see what the likes of Micah Parsons, Kwity Paye, and so many others will bring to the fantasy table. 

This should be a good year! Some of the strong defenses around the league have added new key players to their teams and some could have done more. Starting Thursday night the league kicks off and I will be watching and taking notes in hopes to help guide some of you to a strong defense!! Let get this season started!!

Obviously these players may not be available in all leagues but if your team is hurting from pre-season injuries these are some solid pickups!
