Week #10 questions

  1. Which 5 wins or less team has the best chance at making a Super Bowl run?

Joey: The Miami Fucking Dolphins with a rookie QB. Brian Flores is on the verge of running a dynasty if Tua works out.

Jordan: Cardinals. Kyler can beat anyone on any given day and the cards are dangerous.

Clayton: Dolphins and Cardinals

Zach: The Patriots for the AFC and the Cardinals for the NFC. New England has the coaching staff and experience to make a playoff run. They just need to get healthy and maybe they can get that 7th spot. Arizona has loads of talent offensively and has already shown they can hang with the best of em when they handed Seattle their first loss of the season.

Travis: Philadelphia Eagles. Even with how dysfunctional this team and Carson Wentz is, he looked good and the team is getting healthier at the right time. Could they be the first team to make the Super Bowl with below a .550 record? The worst team to make or win a Super Bowl is The New York Giants in 2011 with a 9-7 record.

Jeremiah: The Eagles. With the NFC East looking ripe for the taking and the offense getting several key players back from injuries, I think they could make a deep playoff run.

  1. Are the Buffalo Bills for real? Drop your prediction on how their season will end.

Joey: Offensively… Sure, but that defense can't scare children in the dark. They will get pounced in the playoffs.

Jordan: Buffalo is real in the sense they’ll win the division. I don’t see them going far in a loaded AFC though.

Clayton: Bills will choke Josh Allen will overthrow Diggs for a game sealing int.

Zach: Yes and no. I think they’ll get their first playoff win in forever and then get eliminated in the second round.

Travis: They'll win the AFC East. Josh Allen finishes number two behind ”Mr. Unlimited” Russell Wilson in the MVP voting. I do think The Bills can win the Wild Card round. When they have to go up against a team with a tough defense they will struggle to stay on the field on 3rd down and will most likely be bounced in the divisional round.

Jeremiah: I think they’ll make the playoffs and go one and done.

  1. What is your upset of the week?

Joey: Chicago is a 3 point underdog at home against Minnesota. Please… Dalvin Cook is an animal, but Kirk Cousins in prime time against Khalil Mack and a stingy Bears Defense won't be a cake walk.

Jordan: Vikings stay hot and Chicago stays cold. Skol baby!

Clayton: Bengals over Steelers and Cardinals over Bills.

Zach: Pats over Ravens on Sunday night football. Call me crazy or a homer but if you’ve watched all the Pats games this season you’d know that they were just a handful of plays away from being 6-2. I know you can say that about quite a few teams but there’s no doubt New England is not nearly as bad as their record.

Travis: Joe Burrow walks into Heinz Field and walks out with a dub. I think this could be the week Burrow shows why he was the number one selection and ruins The Steeler's perfect record. Prediction: 26-24 Burrow marches down field on a game winning 87 yard drive and they get a game winning field goal as time expires.

Jeremiah: Bengals hand the Steelers their first loss of the season. It may sound crazy but the Bengals are fresh off their bye week and won their last game. Ben Roethlisberger looks good to go but has not practiced all week which will give the Bengals Defense a chance to take advantage early.

  1. We have found out that The Bears are a big phony. Who else do you consider overrated or also a phony that is currently in the playoff bracket?

Joey: The fact that this question came next is parallel to my belief that the Bears are phony. But so is Minnesota. Hot take here, the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers better learn how to run the football soon. Big Ben can't do it with his arm anymore. Defense is elite, but they've lucked out on a few close games. The ball won't bounce that way forever if you can't control the clock.

Jordan: It has to be the Browns. They haven’t had a meaningful win and have largely beaten up on bad teams.

Clayton: Colts and Buccaneers

Zach: I have to throw Seattle out there. The only game they’ve won handily was against Atlanta in week #1 and it was still only a 13 point ball game. Half of their wins came against teams with 3 wins or less and all three of those contests ended as one possession games. The other two victories were against Nick Mullens and the depleted 49ers who only came up just 10 points short and the other was a one possession game against Miami. Losing to Buffalo 44-34 sums up the first half of the season for this team perfectly. The offense has been great but the defense is horrendous! They average giving up 362 passing yards per game, for scale, Atlanta is next averaging 310. Seattle is also averaging 30.4 points per game. The only teams worse than that are Dallas and Jacksonville. I don’t care how good your offense is, you can’t win against good teams unless something changes drastically on defense.

Travis: Oakland Raiders. Sorry Mike Pynakker. I think the Miami Dolphins are for real and they come through by the end to sneak into the last spot in the AFC. Bryan Flores wins Coach of the Year.

Jeremiah: The Chiefs. Yes the Chiefs are tied with The Steelers for the most wins in the league, but 6 of their 8 wins have been against teams with 3 wins or less and two of those wins were within 3 points or less. They will most likely be a top 2 seed in the AFC but I’d be surprised  to see them in February again.

  1. Who’s your favorite to take home the MVP hardware?

Joey: It’s Patrick Mahomes. Kyler is on a record breaking pace of 4000 passing yards, and another 1000 on the ground. Thats never been done before. I suspect better team success for Mahomes, and that's why I lean that way.

Jordan: At this point I think it’s Tom Brady. He has Tampa as a serious contender and is deserving of the consideration. If he gets the division it’ll be hard to go against him. However Mahomes is on pace for 44 TDs and 2 INTs so there’s that

Clayton: Russell Wilson.

Zach: If it’s not Jakobi Meyers it’s got to be Kyler Murray! K1 is putting up some record breaking numbers and is doing it in highlight reel fashion. Arizona is only one game behind Seattle for the division. If Murray can keep up this pace and win the division, I can’t see anyone beating him.

Travis: Who’s your favorite to take home the MVP hardware? I discussed this earlier, but my vote is all for Russell Wilson. He's playing at the highest level of football at the moment. I got Josh Allen finishing at two and Aaron Rodgers at three.

Jeremiah: Dalvin Cook. There hasn’t been a non QB MVP since 2012 when Adrian Peterson ran for over 2000 yards. Dalvin Cook is on pace to have over 2000 scrimmage yards and about 25 rushing Touchdowns! The last two players to score 25 or more rushing touchdowns in a season both won the MVP award. Cook is definitely a front runner for the MVP.

That’s it for this week guys. We will see you Sunday with our Start/Sit. As always, stay true.
