Week #11 questions
- Call it now, who wins the super bowl?
Joey: The Kansas City Chiefs have the best roster from top to bottom. Look to see a repeat.
Jordan: Tom Brady
Zach: I’m sticking with my pick from the offseason which was the Saints.
Travis: Indianapolis Colts was my original pick to win the Super Bowl and I am sticking with that.
Jason: I think it's close, but I believe the Pittsburgh Steelers have the best balance of offense and defense to win the Super Bowl. They have playmakers on every side of the ball and they will give KC a run for their money on their way to victory.
Jimmy: Saints over Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Brees retires with a ring, although Kamara takes Super Bowl MVP
- Drake or Edmonds rest of season PPR?
Joey: Fuck man…. I guess Drake.
Jordan: Edmonds. Drake is not going to be the player you drafted him to be.
Zach: It’s Edmonds but I think it will be close as they’ll be in a timeshare for the rest of the season.
Travis: Drake. Chase Edmonds had his chance to take over this backfield when Drake was on the shelf. He failed to deliver. This is Drake's backfield and you have to follow where the money was spent.
Jason: It's Edmonds rest of the season. He is a great change of pace back and a perfect compliment to Drake in that backfield. He didn't thrive in the bell cow roll like I had hoped when Drake was injured, but I think he will put up the better numbers between the two in a shared backfield.
Jimmy: Drake rest of the season. More consistent and more experience.
- What is your upset of the week?
Joey: Falcons are playing much better without Dan Quinn and Taysom Hill is starting at QB for the saints. I'm excited to see what he can do but i'm not confident he won't turn the ball over enough to lose the game for New Orleans.
Jordan: Give me the Falcons over the now reeling Saints. I do expect Jameis to do well though.
Zach: Give me Philly over Cleveland.
Travis: Believe it or not the New York Jets. I’m going to pick them to win this week for most likely their only dub of the year. Chargers have shown an inept ability to close games and this should be no different.
Jason: My upset of the week is the Falcons over the Saints. The Saints just lost their starting HOF QB and have given the reigns to Jameis Winston. I do not believe Winston can lead them to victory against this division rival.
Jimmy: Upset pick is tough this week, but I think Panthers beat the Lions.
- Who do you believe will have the top pick in the draft and what is the pick?
Joey: J.E.T.S. Jets Jets Jets will draft another QB, and probably choose wrong.
Jordan: It’s clearly going to be the Jets as I don’t expect them to win a game this season. It’s gotta be TLaw. Darnold’s days are numbered.
Zach: Lawrence to the Jets and it hurts because I love the kid!
Travis: Jacksonville Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence is the top pick. Why? Jaguars will swap their top pick and a couple of more picks along with Gardner Minshew to move up and snag the best prospect since Andrew Luck.
Jason: It's the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS. That dumpster fire of an organization is going to land the #1 overall pick and select Trevor Lawrence and ruin his career before he even takes a snap in the NFL.
Jimmy: My NY Jets take Trevor Lawrence with the top pick.
- Coach of the year as of right now?
Joey: Flores has done the most with the least. He would be my vote, but obviously Tomlin deserves it too.
Jordan: There is a lot of competition here but give me Mike Tomlin. Last unbeaten team left and is dominating the best division in football.
Zach: The homer side of me wants to say Belichick. With how many injuries and opt outs he’s dealt with it’s amazing that New England is still competitive but I got to go with Brian Flores. He’s transformed his team into a legit contender in such a quick turnaround too! He deserves all the credit in the world for what the Dolphins have accomplished so far especially after getting his team behind him last season when it seemed like the Miami front office was tanking and trading away their top talent. He brushed off a 0-7 start and finished the final nine games 5-4. Great job Flo!
Travis: Brian Flores. What he has been able to do not only at the end of last year but also during this year has been amazing. If he doesn’t win coach of the year I no longer have faith in humanity.
Jason: Coach of the Year for me at this point in the season is going to Brian Flores of the Miami Dolphins. He has pulled all the right strings and has made them into a contender right now with a bunch of young talent on both sides of the ball.
Jimmy: Tomlin as coach of the year currently because of the undefeated record. But Brian Flores making a strong candidate turning the Dolphins around.
That’s it for this week guys. We will see you Sunday with our Start/Sit. As always, stay true.
