Welcome back to the TSF Round Table where the guys at Truth Serum Football are joined by a very special guest Mr. Wyatt Brown! Super Bowl Week is almost upon us and as always we're here to answer some questions. Have a question you want us to answer at next week’s Round Table discussion? Drop it in a comment below.
- Who ya got winning Super Bowl 55?
Zach: KC with the repeat.
Jason: I have the Chiefs defending their title in SB 55. Future HoFer Patrick Mahomes will once again lead his team to victory and the torch will be officially passed from Brady to Mahomes.
Jeremiah: Chiefs! Tampa already showed that they can’t stop Tyreek and that’s gonna be a problem.
Tyler: I am thinking the Bucs defense is really stepping it up. Couple that with an offense ran by TB12. I'm taking the Bucs.
Wyatt: Kansas City
- What is your must have snack/food for a Super Bowl Party?
Zach: Pizza and lots of it! Strombolis are the bomb too!
Jason: My must have food for a Super Bowl party is wings, wings, and more wings.
Jeremiah: Cheese & Crackers and Popcorn!
Tyler: I like a nice tossed salad with a wine cooler.
Wyatt: Sub sandwiches
- What is the best and worst Super Bowls of all time?
Zach: Super Bowl 51 has to be the best and it’ll be hard to top it. Biggest comeback in SB history and first OT. It still hasn’t sunken in yet! As a defensive guy I did thoroughly enjoy SB 53. Great defensive game by the Pats and Rams. Worst is Super Bowl 20. I wasn’t even born and I’m embarrassed for my Pats. Refrigerator Perry punching in that TD makes me want a time machine to go back and do something! 😂
Jason: Worst Super Bowl has to be 2 years ago in SB 53 Pats vs Rams. That was a snooze fest from start to finish. Best SB has to be Eli's first SB win against the aforementioned Pats and the infamous helmet catch by David Tyree.
Jeremiah: Best Super Bowl is XLIX, it was a good back and forth game that came down to the final seconds! Worst super bowl has to be Super Bowl L, both teams played terrible and it was hard to watch.
Tyler: Worst one is LIII. Low scoring game. The best XLI Colts and Bears. I had to work. It was so dead I brought a TV in with me and watched the game there.
Wyatt: Best 54 - I'm biased tho lol.
Worst 49 - Run the ball on the 1!
- Who would you say is the favorite to land Matthew Stafford if Detroit ships him?
Zach: Indy or San Fran are the favorites but I think Houston will be forced to part ways with Watson and will be desperate to replace him. I know they don’t have much draft capital this year but if they’re desperate enough they’ll make a trade work.
Jason: I think Stafford had the best chance to go to the Rams. It's time for them to move on from Goff and get a seasoned vet under center. The only thing working against them is their salary cap issues, but I believe they find a way to get it done. They become instant SB contenders if it happens.
Jeremiah: San Francisco or Indy
Tyler: I have been seeing Indy is interested. That would be pretty good.
Wyatt: Indianapolis
- Will Big Ben return to the gridiron or call it a career?
Zach: He really should but he’s not going out on a loss to the Browns.
Jason: I think Big Ben restructures his contract and comes back for one more year. I think it's time for him to hang it up, but I think he still wants to prove he has it in him to try and win, especially after how this season came to an end.
Jeremiah: He’s gonna play as long as the Steelers will let him.
Tyler: I hope Big Ben is done. There is something about his face, I just don't care for it.
Wyatt: I hope he hangs them up but I think he'll give it a go for another year.
