Week #13 questions

  1. Ryan Tannehill is a top 10 fantasy QB right now and was 3rd in points between weeks 7-17 when he was starting in 2019. Do you have him as a QB1 for next season?

Joey: Slow the fuck down... Who knows? Situations change in the offseason. But I can tell you, he will be a top 10 QB this week against the Browns.

Jordan: Mahomes, Russ, Kyler, Dak, Watson, Allen, Rodgers, Ryan, Herbert, Burrow all over him. So no.

Zach: Either a low end QB1 or a high end QB2 depending on how the ROS and offseason shakes out.

Travis: Yes. He has proven to be a great fit for this team and believe it or not this team is still ascending. AJ Brown is an absolute stud and if they hold onto Jonnu Smith and Corey Davis I think this team is built to last.

Pynakker: I do think he is a qb1 but I do think he’s a low end one. He has the weapons to keep it going but I think henry is the main factor there, if Henry were to drop off or get injured he will fail miserably because the reason I think he’s doing good is all defenses are scared of Henry.

Jimmy: I don't have Tannehill as a fantasy starter for 2021, but he is a target for my QB2. I don't see him lighting up the scoreboard like a Mahomes or a Rodgers, but if your QB1 is in a slump, Tannehill can be counted on to get you points.

  1. Call it now, who has the best rest of the year and ends up being the best rookie running back?

Joey: Watch Cam Akers get 8 rushing touchdowns by season's end, and another 3 in the playoffs.

Jordan: Best rest of season Akers slightly nudging out Swift for ROS. Swift overall RB1 for all rookies.

Zach: The obvious answer is Gibson but I think CEH has a very bright future.

Travis: It’s definitely James Robinson, but only because he’s been doing it over a longer stretch. Give me all the Gibson and Swift I can get for next year and fuck off with Robinson in 2021.

Pynakker: I think it’s CEH and not close. I’m a huge JT guy but the colts seem to really want to keep Hines in the mix keeping JT’s volume down. Bell hasn’t shown up like Hines has so it seems clear to me that CEH has the volume. And dobbins and Akers I feel like have already dropped way out of the convo

Jimmy: Clyde Edwards-Helaire is in the best position being on the most prolific offense in the NFL, but don't sleep on Anthony McFarland in Pittsburgh. McFarland could surprise late as the Steelers rest some starters.

  1. What is your upset of the week?

Joey: San Francisco is coming to play this week. Raheem Mostert is going to run a train on the entire Bills defense. Not the other way around.

Jordan: Chargers over Pats to end this Patriot playoff nonsense once and for all.

Zach: Call me crazy but give me the Football team over the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s most likely stupid but I’m getting a trap game feeling with this one.

Travis: Eagles over the Packers. The Eagles come from under a rock and deliver the upset. They use Miles Sanders properly and he goes off against the porous Packers run defense who rank 29th.

Pynakker: My upset this week is the Lions taking down the Bears. With Allen Robinson possibly out that would take one of the only offensive threats out of the game, and the Bears are just trash! I think the Lions will pull off this divisional win!

Jimmy: Upset of the week for me will be Falcons over the Saints. Atlanta is slowly putting things back together in the Dirty South and the Saints, despite a decent performance by Taysom Hill last week, are hanging on by a thread. Atlanta wins this 31-24

  1. The Ravens suffered another tough loss on Wednesday. Will they be able to sneak into the playoffs?

Joey: It's far from a lock, but I think they get in.

Jordan: I think they finish on the outside looking in. They need to look at drafting an actual quarterback next season.

Zach: Nah son, the Pats are taking their spot.

Travis: I think they’ve already fallen too far behind. The teams they have taken losses from are not going to help out their cause. They damn near have to finish 10-6 and I just don’t see it happening for them this year.

Pynakker: I hate to say it but I think they’re dropping off, if they could get through covid shit they could make it but injuries and covid have screwed their season hard!

Jimmy: Baltimore has been figured out by NFL defenses. This is the downfall of running QB's and a run heavy offense. Once it's figured out, you have no passing game to keep the defense honest and they can cheat down on every play. No chance Baltimore is a playoff team.

  1. Was Tyreek Hill’s performance this past week the best fantasy performance you’ve ever witnessed?

Joey: Absolutely not. I played against him. Fuck you Cheetah!

Jordan: No. Peyton Manning once threw 7 TDs against me in one game. Also had Bitchell Trubitchsky drop like 50 on me last season. But it was fun to watch Tyreek shit on em.

Zach: To the best of my recollection, yes, I believe it was. I have 0 shares of Tyreek but thankfully I didn’t matchup against him. 😅

Travis: It was the best one in recent history. That’s for sure. He was only like 9 PPR points from breaking Jerry Rice’s single game and all time record.

Pynakker: I mean there’s nobody I’ve seen WR-wise that has ever put up numbers like that. There’s been a few QBs that did some crazy numbers out of nowhere but not any WRs I can think of in my fantasy football career which goes back 15+ years.

Jimmy: 269 yards, 3 TD's on 13 receptions is an incredible day! Hill got me 75 points in one format his week. Absolutely one of the most impressive games I've ever seen!

That’s it for this week guys. We will see you Sunday with our Start/Sit. As always, stay true.
