Week #1 IDP Corner

IDP Corner Week 1!!

  Hello everyone and Welcome Back!!!!

Wow did it feel good to watch some regular season football!!! We’re gonna tackle some of highs and lows of week 1. It was a wild week so let’s dive into it!!

  HIGHLIGHTS:

Where to start?! So let’s start with some of the big names that put up there big numbers. Myles Garret did what he does and put up 4 solo tackles 1 FF and 2 sacks!! Minkah Fitzpatrick led all DB and recorded 10 solo tackles and and interception for a TD!! Khalil Mack seems to be fitting in with the chargers and had himself a game 5 solo tackles 3, yes 3, sacks and 1 ff!

  Some rookies to note:

Travon Walker had 3 solo tackles 1 INT and 1 sack

Even though my packers looked horrible they had a bright shining star in rookie Quay Walker. It seemed like he was involved in every play! He had 7 solo tackles and 1 assist.

The Bears defensive rookies seemed to have the best day overall though. 3 of their rookies topped the charts for rookies. Best CB, S, De, rookies on week 1 belong to Chicago.

One thing to remember is it only week 1 so it’s best not to panick yet! There is still more time so if your struggling hold your stars and watch the waivers! Below will be some good pickups!

Waiver adds:

CB:

  Nate Hobbs LV

  Troy Hill LAR

  Ahkello Witherspoon PIT

S:

  Marcus Williams BAL

  Jonathan Owens HOU

  Brandon Jones MIA

DE:

  Daron Payne WAS

Note that not all these players will be available in your leagues these are just some players worth watching for and if available I would pick them up.

It’s only week 1 so a lot can change! I hope you all have a great season and watch out for next weeks article where I will hopefully have a little more idea of where some players stand, I will probably incorporate a droppable players column as well but it’s too early to tell as of right now!
